A doctor in Detroit was managing his own Internet marketing through his purchasing of Google Ad Words. After meeting with us and learning about our philosophy and offering, we convinced him to give us a try for one month for $1,000, compared to his regular $3,000 monthly spend. In that first month, we generated more than double the amount of targeted leads than he was receiving as a result of his own efforts.
We redirected his marketing budget focus from a concentration of 20 keyword search terms to an expansion of over 500 key phrases that were less competitive, and better targeted. A Palm Beach area tutoring service was advertising in multiple local magazines. In order to compliment their magazine ad campaign, we targeted Internet users in their direct geographic area who were looking for tutors online. As they did not have a website, we created a basic one-page lead generation website for them, free of charge.
Because we were able to target people who were looking for tutors in their immediate location, at the exact moment that they were searching, we were able to increase the number of monthly leads generated. The total number of leads generated by the company per month went from 5 to 45, while spending only an additional $350.
While it is true that magazine advertisements present local branding and the related credibility, targeted Internet placement is a far more direct marketing tool, as it relates to actual customer returns on the dollar spent. By combining the two media, our customer was able to solidify a strong and viable presence in Palm Beach County with a minimal additional investment.
Later, we further narrowed the geographic target area within their county, thereby enabling them to place specific targeted ads for individual tutors within a 2-mile radius of each of their homes. This dramatically enhanced their overall efficiency and enabled individual tutors to see more clients in any given period because of the reduction in transportation time between clients.
Another customer that we have been able to help is a spa in metro Atlanta. They have a beautiful website; however, they had no significant traffic stream, leaving their site essentially useless as anything other than a placeholder. By employing our highly targeted and efficient advertising methodology, we have been able to ensure that no other competitors approach their level of market share in the area.
In fact, in any given month, out of all Atlanta area Internet users who are looking for anything spa or beauty-related, over 20 percent visit their website as a result of our work on their behalf.
