What if I do not have a website or I don’t like mine?

Spotlight will make you a basic website free of charge.

 
How does Spotlight set the price?

We make pricing decisions based on our experience in determining the lowest cost to achieve the desired value for any given customer.

Our monthly minimum requirement is based on our assessment of what would be the absolute minimum required in order to attract a large enough market share for most products and services in any specified geographic area.

 
Why would I choose to spend more money than the minimum?

The amount of money invested in Internet advertising is directly tied to the number and quality of the related results, in terms of volume of traffic and quality of leads. Additional advertising dollars are spent in a variety of ways depending on the given service or company.

It can go toward any or all of the following: Increased geographic target radius, more search terms, advertisements for more divisions of the local business, physically higher placements, or more coverage of any utilized resources during certain hours of the day or days per week.

How can I track my results?

Spotlight sends an email notification at the exact moment a visitor is sent to your website. These notification emails can be turned off at any time, but are a nice way to view trends of activity.

We also provide you with a login and password for our website so that you can view summary reports at any time.

In the event that we create a basic website for your company, you will also receive instant notification when anyone completes the contact form. For enhanced tracking, you can employ the use of coupon codes and phone numbers specific to our advertising efforts. Usually the results are so pronounced that enhanced tracking is not necessary.

We can track and record every phone call that we generate for your business through our advertising efforts.

 
Can I advertise in other languages?

Yes. Upon request we are happy to help you target potential customers in other countries, and/or create ads in foreign languages within either a local domestic area or outside the United States.

 
Does this help my site show up higher on the search engines?

The official answer is no. The reputations of the major search engines are built on creating the most relevant results for active searches in the world. Allowing advertisers to simply “buy their way” to higher placement on their regular (organic) search results would seriously undermine their relevancy to the public and therein damage their foundation of credibility. However, indirectly, the answer is yes.

More traffic to any site ultimately leads to more “chatter” among Internet searchers, which leads to additional visitors and referrals. This invariably results in increased blog entries and other site linkage to your website, which in turn leads to a higher search engine ranking.

What if my business has more than 1 location?

No Problem. We have many customers with multiple locations throughout the county and are able to effectively target traffic in each area as though it is local only to those searching in that geographic location. It is highly recommended in these cases, however, that you allot enough of your advertising budget to ensure adequate coverage for each location.

 
Can I choose where my ad shows?

If you have a specific request regarding placement, we are happy to fulfill it; however, our specialists are the foremost experts in the Internet advertising arena, ensuring optimization of your advertising dollars regardless of any predetermined specifications of placement.

 
How high will my ads appear on the search engines? Will I be above my competitors?

As mentioned in the previous question, SpotLight will always optimize your advertising value in order to achieve the best return on your investment. Sometimes, this means that your placement will not be higher than that of your competition’s – the best deployment of Internet advertising is not always related to achieving the highest physical position.

Our goal is to produce the best results possible for your advertising dollars and we equate results to active and continuous traffic and leads. Having stated this, however, if you are still resigned to attaining a specific placement position, we will honor your request.

How long does it take to get started and see results?

Client campaigns typically take no more than 5-7 business days to be deployed, depending on resource availability.

The billing cycle does not begin until your ads are officially launched and is prorated until the beginning of the month following your deployment. While it typically takes 60 - 90 days of daily monitoring and campaign enhancement to reach peak performance, your ads will actually start to generate traffic within hours of the campaign launch.

 
If I already do Internet Advertising myself, why should I try Spotlight?

Effective management of paid placement advertising campaigns requires great skill and time. Like in any business, people hire subcontractors to handle certain specialized tasks in order to best utilize their own time for their own expertise. Several of our existing customers initially attempted to manage their own Internet advertising campaigns.

We invite our customers to join us on a trial basis with half of their Internet advertising budget while they continue to manage the other half on their own. We have yet to prove unworthy of such a trial. We are proud of the fact that we have prevailed in every instance (and for only half of their existing spend). Please see the “Success Stories” portion of this overview for further clarification.

 
Do you pay per click?

Sometimes. We use a variety of techniques. However, our customers pay a simple flat rate regardless of how SpotLight spends their advertising budget to generate results – remember, anyone can produce “clicks” – it is the value of those clicks that really matters – and ours are the most valuable you can get!

How are you different than your competition?

Without overstating, we really don’t have any competitors. Our company principles are rooted in an extensive background of full responsibility for creating effective large national and international Internet advertising campaigns.

We identified that local businesses and medical professionals were largely an ignored and underserved market and sought out to represent them. These companies are too small to attract or afford honest big advertising companies, but have ambitions far too large to be effectively handled alone.

The only other similar companies in existence have proven not to have the confidence necessary to stand behind their work, evidenced by the fact that almost all such companies charge unnecessary set-up fees, require strict minimum time commitments and rely on the use of predetermined computer generated advertising campaigns for their relative success. It is impossible for a computer to adequately decipher and address personalized business goals when compared to that of a human specialist – the equations necessary to address those goals in the world of internet marketing are simply too fluid and interpretive in nature.

 
Is this "Search Engine Optimization?"

No. This is “Paid Placement Advertising”. Search engine optimization (SEO) is an entirely different process and one that we at SpotLight DO NOT endorse.

SEO involves “reprogramming” a website for the purposes of tricking the major search engines into awarding the site a higher ranking. It is usually very expensive (often greater than $500 per month) and takes at least 6 months to produce any recognized enhancements. Further, because all the major search engines continuously combat SEO, due to the fact that it debilitates the integrity of their search results, they change their ranking algorithms regularly, making it impossible for one to overcome without tedious and perpetual management.

Effectively, every 6 to 9 months all of the “rules” change and the SEO process must begin anew. Paid Placement Advertising, on the other hand, is the lifeblood of search engines, as it is the only way that they gain revenue – therefore, it is not only fully supported, but also highly encouraged by all major search engine companies.

 
Do you guarantee results?

Our commitment to providing results without the employment of set-up fees or term contracts aligns our motives and desires completely with our clients’. We are entirely incentivized to continuously produce exceptional results because our clients can choose to stop working with us at any time.

We guarantee that there is no more efficient way to advertise. At the same time, we cannot, in good conscience, guarantee specific results simply because there is no way to predict result variations due to changing conditions of supply and demand among various industries and locations.

How are you able to make it so this is locally targeted?

We track the Internet Protocol (IP) addresses of Internet users who are searching for our clients so that we know where they are located at all times that they are logged into the Internet.

This is a common industry practice and does not violate any individual’s expectation of privacy. We also insert certain addendums to key terms that allow us to more narrowly focus our customers’ campaigns.
