    What if I do not have a website?

    That is fine. Spotlight will make you a promotional micro-site as part of the service at no charge.

    How does Spotlight set the price?

    We make pricing decisions based on our experience in determining the lowest cost to achieve the maximum value for each customer.

    Why would I choose to spend more money than the minimum?

    The amount of money invested in Internet advertising is directly corrolated to the quantity of the results. Additional advertising dollars are spent in a variety of ways depending on the specific customer. An expanded budget can go toward any or all of the following: Increased geographic target radius, more search terms, advertisements for more aspects of the business, physically higher placements, or more coverage during additional hours of the day or days per week.

    Can I advertise in other languages?

    Yes. We are happy to help you target potential customers in other countries or create ads in foreign languages within either a local domestic area or outside the United States.

    Does this help my site show up higher on the search engines?

    The official answer is no. The reputations of the major search engines are built on creating the most relevant results. Allowing advertisers to simply “buy their way” to higher placement on their organic search results would seriously undermine their relevancy to the public and therein damage their foundation of credibility. However, indirectly, the answer is yes. More traffic to any site ultimately leads to more chatter among Internet searchers, which leads to additional visitors and referrals. This inevitably results in increased blog entries and other connections to your website, which in turn leads to a higher search engine ranking.

    What if my business has more than 1 location?

    No Problem. We have many customers with multiple locations throughout the county or multiple locations within one city, and are able to effectively target traffic in each area as though it is local only to those searching in that geographic location.

    Can I choose where my ad shows?

    If you have a specific request regarding placement, we are happy to fulfill it. By Default, our specialists ensure optimal use of your advertising dollars.

    How high will my ads appear on the search engines? Will I be above my competitors?

    Spotlight will always optimize your advertising budget for maximum value. Sometimes, this means that your placement will not be higher than that of your competition. The best results are not usually derived from the highest physical position.
    However, if you desire placement position that is not optimal, we will reluctantly honor your request.

    How long does it take to get started and see results?

    Client campaigns typically take no more than 5-7 business days to be deployed. The billing cycle does not begin until your ads are officially launched. While it typically takes 60 – 90 days of daily monitoring and campaign enhancement to reach peak performance, your ads can actually start to generate results within hours of the campaign launch.

    If I already do Internet Advertising myself, why should I try Spotlight?

    Effective management of paid placement advertising campaigns requires great skill, time and a robust back-end system. Like in any business, people hire subcontractors to handle certain specialized tasks in order to best utilize their own time for their own expertise. Many of our existing customers initially attempted to manage their own Internet advertising campaigns. We invite our customers to join us on a trial basis with half of their budget while they continue to manage the other half on their own. We are proud of the fact that we have prevailed in every such head-to-head comparison.

    Do you pay per click?

    Sometimes. We use a variety of techniques. However, our customers pay a simple flat rate regardless of Spotlight’s expenses. Anyone can produce clicks, but it’s the quality of those clicks that matters.

    How are you different than your competition?

    We really don’t have any competitors. Our company principles are rooted in an extensive background of full responsibility for creating effective large national and international Internet advertising campaigns. We identified that local businesses were largely an ignored and underserved market and sought out to represent them. These companies are too small to attract or afford big advertising companies, but have ambitions too large to be effectively handled alone.

    Other similar companies have proven not to have the confidence necessary to stand behind their work, evidenced by the fact that almost all such companies charge unnecessary set-up fees, require strict minimum time commitments and rely on the use of predetermined computer generated advertising campaigns. It is impossible for a computer to adequately decipher and address personalized business goals when compared to that of human specialists. The equations necessary to address those goals in the world of internet marketing are simply too fluid and interpretive in nature.

    Is Spotlight Advertising the same as “Search Engine Optimization?”

    No. Search engine optimization (SEO) is an entirely different process and one that we do not endorse.

    How are you able to make it so this is locally targeted?

    We track the Internet Protocol (IP) addresses of Internet users who are searching for our clients so that we know where they are located when logged on the Internet. We also insert certain conditions on key search terms that allow us to more narrowly focus our customers’ campaigns.
